We have just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable retreat in Anghiari. With 7 tutors, and nearly 20 participants, the week was full of learning, sharing and much fun. Participants have gone home with inspiration and food for thought regarding their writing projects, and as tutors we also learnt much from those attending.

We have designed a bespoke programme for everyone to enjoy, from first-time writers to published authors.

Led by Dr Kate Kennedy and Dr Tony Gray, tutors will be eminent writers in the fields of biography, fiction and creative non-fiction.

Writing course with workshops and seminars

The week will be a tutor-led course, including workshops and seminars.  Workshops and seminars are optional. If you wish to develop your writing, then these will help you along the way. However, if you wish to spend more time on your writing in the peace and quiet of the beautiful surroundings, treating the week like a retreat, you are more than welcome to.

Accommodation and meals

Accommodation will be provided in beautifully appointed ensuite rooms within the Il Cardo resort.

Delicious Tuscan meals prepared on site by local chefs will be provided for all participants.
